Dear Pastor Bergelin and all of the members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Howard’s Grove, WI.
Greetings in the Name of our Risen Savior, Jesus Christ, and I pray all the Father’s blessings be upon you.
Thank you so much for calling me to serve as a Vicar to your Church. I accept the call with a grateful and thankful heart.
It will be nice to return to Wisconsin for Vicarage. I am actually from Janesville, WI, which is halfway between Rockford, Il, and Madison, WI. I went to school at St. Paul’s Janesville, for 2 years and then went to Mequon, WI where I got my B.A. in History. While at Mequon I met my finacee, Tristin Rutledge.
I then decided to apply to the Seminary because of my experiences living over in Ghana, West Africa for a year. While there I saw the need and hunger of the people for the Word of God, especially the Deaf population. I want to reach the people for God and serve those who need His Word and do not know it. I pray that I am able to learn how to put that into practice when I am serving my Vicarage at Trinity.
Once again, thank you for calling me and I cannot wait to start serving and meeting everyone!
In Christ,
Joshua Reinke
